[sims] Solus3 - Auto Deployment ???

So I receive the Capita blurb email today regarding the CTF Import patch and that it must be deployed yada yada...

 

Go check my Solus3 console and see the patch there and downloaded on the 16th however it has not auto deployed even though it says it can. I then look down the list at all these other stupid patches that have been released saying they can be auto deployed however they too have not been.

 

Now i'm going by the deployment history tab here... Am I missing something ??? - I've had auto deployment scheduled in the settings ever since I setup Solus3 3 years ago and the main seasonal updates auto deploy so

The Workstation CTF Import patch is only showing in deployment history now because I told it to deploy manually.

 

As per screenshots all patches are auto downloading ... ???

Bumping to see if anyone knows about this.

 

Just come back from a small break and delved a little further into this.

Can see that Fileset is deployed through DMS which is all new in Solus3 and have not stumbled across the guide and set it up so that deployed.

 

It appears that "releases" auto deploy however "patches" do not? is it supposed to function this way?

Patches with the letter A in a black circle on the right side of the screen are auto-deployable. If it isn't working you could try re-registering the site as that seems to be Capita's go-to answer when things like this happen.

Hmmm ok.

 

Do you see the auto deployed patched in your history pane? Releases work fine its just patches...

FYI for anyone else in future, Capita came back to me rather quickly:-

 

In regards to your issue with Patches not deploying automatically patch 24192 has been created to address this problem. The issue has arisen as the auto fix only applied up to database version 3.62.999/

I can send you a copy of the patch to apply via DBUpgrade, or request for our escalations team to release it to you via SOLUS.
