PaulDataBod Posted July 19, 2018 Posted July 19, 2018 Dear wonderful people of the interwebs now I have the trauma of picking up broken pieces behind me....time for something new I want to set up subject level tracking sheets in SIMS. The idea being this is where topic test results and the like get stored, rather than on a random selection of excel sheets, notebooks, and scraps of paper. so I am after advice as to the best way to structure this (keeping in mind that SIMS is not my first language) my initial thoughts are a set of aspects labeled Assessment for 10 assessments, not linked to a result set so they just sit there. this seems a - a bit basic b - probably the wrong way to use SIMS c- time-consuming to make all the aspects for all the subjects so I have been poking around in the 'progress grids' section to see if this might have better functionality, but I am not sure it is any more useful than a bunch of simple mark sheets. When it comes down to it - has anyone else set up department tracking sheets (ie all the tests, not just the end of term data collections) in SIMS and if so - what route did you take or would you recommend? has anyone set up a similar set of sheets, and
