Mr_Jiminy Posted July 11, 2018 Posted July 11, 2018 I have set-up PfSense in my home environment to much success, with the exception of getting Sky On Demand content to download. I've attempted to add the IP of the Sky+ box to the proxy bypass list, however this was to no avail. Has anyone had success at getting this to work?
k-strider Posted July 11, 2018 Posted July 11, 2018 yes on my Sophos UTM i had let stuff out on a specific port... im at work but ill see if i can find the thread... it worked for Sky HD and then Sky Q 1
k-strider Posted July 11, 2018 Posted July 11, 2018 i know its a different firewall but the principle may help https://community.sophos.com/products/unified-threat-management/f/network-protection-firewall-nat-qos-ips/41915/sky-tv-on-demand 1
k-strider Posted July 11, 2018 Posted July 11, 2018 well now i am home i just looked at my UTM and i've basically grouped all my sky Q boxes into a group and and allowed them access to anything on any port. i also have an older rule which is i think all i needed for my old SKY HD boxes that allowed anything on any port access to port 3700
