Self build laptop storage

Has anyone ever built their own laptop storage cupboard with charging?

 

I've been asked to consider the feasibility of building storage for 20 laptops. Reasonable security only. But to include electrics to support charging via the mains adapters.

 

If anyone has succeeded at a similar project or even attempted such a project then I would be interested in any tips and recommendations.

To be honest, for the effort and cost of self building, it would probably work out just as cheap to buy a laptop charging cupboard

I went with Zioxi cupboards, purchased through our regular AV supplier, All Office, for our ipads and they were not as expensive as I had expected them to be. I doubt that I would have been able to design and build one myself any cheaper, or any better.

I remember seeing very basic and cheap laptop trolleys created by Little Dreams

Might be worth asking them? Seem to vaguely recall the price being somewhere between £300-500, but this was a few years back!
