fiza Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 We use Salamander to auto provision Google Classrooms for us. The sync from SIMS to Google happens every night but we have a couple of students who say they cannot do their homework because they cannot see their classes in Google Classroom. We have a suspicion that they are un-enrolling themselves from the Classroom but obviously the next day the classroom is back there as Salamander has added it back. Without proof we can't do anything. Is there any way to find out if they did un-enroll themselves?
edmokeski Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 (edited) Short of checking on the class list (via the Salamander Classroom admin user or GAM) shortly before sync, I can't think of one. You might be able to user PowerShell to script GAM to export the class list to CSV/Sheet at 23:50, if you don't want to have to log in yourself at that time. mjk Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 I've been through this and concluded that the students unenrolled themselves. The fact that Salamander re-enrol them each night is enough evidence, there is no other way it can happen. We just passed it onto pastoral for non-compliance and they dealt with it as a behaviour issue.
