Hi, does anyone know if there's something special we need to do to enable the use of accents, umlauts etc in Word, Powerpoint online etc? The usual shortcuts of ctrl+` then the letter don't work regardless of browser.

I thought the ctrl versions were Office owns so wouldn't work via browser, but the alt one's should work as it's built into windows. (YMMV)

alt138 would give è etc

It'll be doable when we move to win10, not going to spend time on it for the last few weeks of 7; assuming they'll be able to cope with a french keyboard layout on UK keyboards. It's going to be quite common for pretty much every languages department surely!

We are using Office and we've advised they use the full office suite if using accents heavily. It was just a matter of convenience when a file is emailed through or shared on onedrive to be able to edit it there and then.
