cw222 Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Morning, The curriculum manager is attempting to upload a SPL file to the SQL server. This is using “Export the Curriculum and Timetable to SQL”. The error message looks like this: "invalid filename" The filename follows the Syntax :juneupdates.spl We had network issues last week caused by a wrongly configured switch(apparently the process was working fine before this), and the staff member who usually troubleshoots Novat6 is off for a few days. This is the first NovaT issue I have been tasked with! Has anyone encountered this issue - I'm not sure what to look for and assume I'm just being silly! Any ideas would be much appreciated ! CW
Linfit Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 You get this error if the path to the sims .net executable is set wrong. Check the SQL Link path under Tools | Set SQL Link Path in Nova. This should point to the folder where the SIMS .net Pulsar.exe file is located, C:\Program Files\SIMS\SIMS .net 1
cw222 Posted June 20, 2018 Author Posted June 20, 2018 Perfect! Thanks - NovaT6 was pointing to C:\Program Files\SIMS\SIMS .net and SIMS was located in x86.
