Most MB today only have 1 ATA port. Can someone point me to a motherboard which support LGA775 and has mord than 1 ATA port. Looking to pay £30 to £40.

Might it be easier to buy a £10 ATA controller off eBay?

I have decided to have a SATA Hard Drive and a SATA DVD RW and use the IDE for the floppy drive.

 

You know the floppy connector is a different size (smaller width) than the harddisk / CD-ROM one, right?

IDE type disk drives runs off a separate connector again, you have the wider ATA133 connector that can take a master and slave drive (HD, DVD) and a narrower connector that handles the disk drives.

So, my motherboard will have a seperate one for the floppy drive?

 

The image on that link you posted is a bit small, but I think the black connector at the bottom is the floppy and the blue one on the right the harddrive one. Might want to check the manufacturer's website to have a closer look.
