I'm trying to get Presonus Studio One to play nice on one of our macs - we have a single license and its installed and activated ok. The issue is the mac is used by multiple users (AD authentication) but the stupid thing only activates for the original user - so everyone else is asked to activate! Its crazy as its only one installation but multiple users. Presonus aren't much help as they obviously expect a mac to be a single user at all times.

The license file seems to be held in the ~/Library/Preferences/Presonus/Studio One 2 folder - so is there any concept of a 'Default User' profile like in Windows that I could copy to so every new users gets a copy of the license file?

I'm not trying to do anything dodgy here - I just don't get it why the application is activated for the current user only, as the activation uses the machine name anyway!

Thanks, unfortunately it just shows how presonus don't recognise multi-user environments as you have to copy the license file across to previously created user accounts. We have potentially 100's that may use it!

However I have found a workaround which seems to work! For anyone having a similar problem, copy the ~/Library/Preferences/Presonus folder to the /System/Library/User Template/English.lproj/Library/Preferences folder and any newly created accounts get a copy of the license file!
