Chrissy Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 Hi Guys, recently I've had some problems with SIMS but I've now got the database attatched and everything ready to go. However, since I installed SIMS; I didn't actually know what my login was (guessing because I don't even have a login as it's a fresh install) and tried to access System Manager. However, it's giving me the "Invalid Startup Parameter" error and I don't know any cause or fix. If anybody could give me some advice please I'd be most grateful.
Esteban_Child_of_the_Sun Posted April 20, 2018 Posted April 20, 2018 Assuming you are talking about SIMS .net and not the old DBase version then you can apply patch 11602 to the database which will reset the password for the sysman login to password which will allow you access to SIMS.net and the System Manager menu routes within it, which you can use to reset passwords for other users or create new users.
Chrissy Posted April 20, 2018 Author Posted April 20, 2018 Do you have an idea where I can get it from or if you can send me it (Unless it is confidential)
Esteban_Child_of_the_Sun Posted April 20, 2018 Posted April 20, 2018 The patch is available on SOLUS3, just ask your SIMS support/Capita to release it to you.

Esteban_Child_of_the_Sun Posted April 20, 2018 Posted April 20, 2018 Check with your SIMS support that they have authrosied the correct version to you as there are several early versions that are no longer valid
