Got a Chromebook for testing. Testing is going fine.

Oooh you can disable them and have a message pop up. Better get that configured, then!

Configure message, disable Chromebook to test that it all works, it does! Fantastic!

... except now I can't re-enable it again...

Wut

The Re-Enable option can't be selected, and it's 'refunded' me the license it was using.

I can't re-enrol the Chromebook back to into our organisation either because it's sat on the disabled screen and I can't do anything.

I just checked one of mine and re enable and deprovision option are both available. Whatever you do don't deprovision, that is for permanent loss / sold on etc.

I'd try a refresh of the browser, then call google support.

I use the disable feature all the time as a way to find lost devices.

Edit: Also worth enabling force re enrollment. It won't solve this problem, but a good setting to have on. Chrome 65 is supposed to have auto re enroll.

In the filter, top left - select just disabled devices rather than all devices. Then you will have the option. Or you can click on the device and open up all the info about it and the option is there as well. The options in that menu as not active when you have all devices selected. You can do it via commandline with GAM as well.

Ahh, yep, that was it. Derp!

You can't select any of the options when you're filtered on 'All'.

Ah, I'd checked that page, but was completely oblivious to the three-dot menu.

Thank you! :)
