sluggster66 Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 Hi I have just moved away from our proxy server to a new firewall. Solus3 is unable to deploy updates. The error I get is a connection timeout, saying our old proxy address hasn't replied. I have removed proxy settings from solus3 and sims service manager but still getting the same error. Any help would be great.
tech-man Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 Errrrrm do you have a system proxy defined? Restarted solus Services?
sluggster66 Posted April 10, 2018 Author Posted April 10, 2018 Services restarted. System proxy? Do you mean proxy settings in browser? If so these have all been removed. Cheers

sluggster66 Posted April 11, 2018 Author Posted April 11, 2018 That's Tech-man Tried this already but showing as no proxy. Really weird
Esteban_Child_of_the_Sun Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Capita has a list of registry locations that cache proxy details that SOLUS references (apparently as per Microsoft's instructions). I don't have a copy but if you log a call with your SIMS Support they will be able to go through them with you. When I logged it, Capita did a remote session and whipped through the registry in about 5 minutes.
sluggster66 Posted April 11, 2018 Author Posted April 11, 2018 Thanks I think your right about it being reg settings I have logged with Capita
Rolo_1997 Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 Hi, The Registry locations for the proxy can be seen below, we got this from capita a while back and it has sorted out a lot of our issues. Load up regedit. BACKUP REGISTRY BEFORE MAKING CHANGES.* Located in - Hkey_users\S-1-5-18\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Connections* Within this location there at 2 registry entries.* Remove the 2 registry entries at this location (DefaultConnectionSettings & SavedLegacySettings)Save and exit.• Restart Solus 3 deployment service. This will then allow the solus 3 UI to download and extract the updates. Hope this helps
sluggster66 Posted April 12, 2018 Author Posted April 12, 2018 Thanks That fixed the issue. Really appreciate everyone’s help. Simon
