SimpleSi Posted March 8, 2018 Posted March 8, 2018 I was having a problem using T'internet on a computer in a school I was doing a code club in and for some reason I was gravitated to checking proxy lan settings and it had the old proxy.lancsngfl.ac.uk:8080 settings in the Removing them and T'internet was fine. My memory is right in that there is no need for any proxy settings anymore? - it was all changed to use a trasnsparent server ages ago wasn't it? Or was it just co-incidence that when i removed them - the T'internet started working again???? Simon (more confused than I ever used to be)
buzzard Posted April 17, 2018 Posted April 17, 2018 bit late but I'm guessing they've gotten around to cleaning/removing the old proxy so it finally stopped working?
