Acronis backup and recovery

I joined this school this week and they use Acronis backup and recover advance 11.5 for vmware

 

I can see agents installed on one server but no portal to run restore or backup

 

Been told in past they used to run via putty. but no one has any information!

 

anyone use same solution or can give pointers how i can access the acronis backup? kind of in deep end first week but pointers will help fast track than waste hours

If you install the management console on another server, you can connect to the agent on the host remotely. What your colleague as mention is probably using the cli to manage the backup, which you use by conencting to the host using something like Putty. Haven't done it that way before, so not entirely sure the correct commands to use.
