ABTutor - Screen Lag

Currently using Version 8.2x and recent noticed that when viewing machines, or giving a demo to a group of machines the screen on the viewed machines or machine receiving the demo start lagging in terms of monitor display and mouse/keyboard.

 

Anyone come across this before - and does this happen of other products such as Impero/Netsupport etc.

To be clear, I work at NetSupport...

 

There should be no noticeable delay when showing your screen to others, however there are many factors that may effect this including the network, what you are showing, screen resolution, whether you are showing multiple monitors, the spec of the machines you are showing to and also what settings you have configured I can’t speak for AB Tutor but our solution (NetSupport) automatically can adjust many settings to optimise performance or quality depending on the environment)

 

I don’t think it is possible to give you a straight answer that NetSupport (or any other product) would be quicker without more information but I would be fairly confident that NetSupport would. The best thing to do is download our free trial from http://www.netsupportschool.com and try it on the same machines.
