pbad Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 I'm just wandering is there still a need to use ctrl+alt+del to login in a School environment. It just seems so outdated now as most devices that children start using at a young age are unlocked using a swipe gesture. I have the "Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete to log on" setting enabled on all Windows 7 clients, but I don't know whether to have the setting enabled on my Windows 10 clients? Any opinions or suggestions are welcomed.
Chuckster Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 I have always had it disabled since the days of Windows XP. I never saw the need for it, to be honest.
alfatec Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 Same here in a full Windows 1709 environment. No need for the Ctrl, alt, delete.
ollyyllo Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 Ctrl + Alt + Delete is disabled here. It is also worth disabling the Windows 10 Lockscreen. Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Control Panel > Personalization Do not display the lock screen - Enabled
