robbie-w Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 We are having an issue whereby our laptops lose connection to our protected network via Wi-Fi(radius controlled) The symptoms are that the Wi-Fi network name disappears from the list of networks and the laptops either connect to an open network or stay disconnected The fact that the Wi-Fi name is forgotten suggests to me that group policy is somehow expired as this is where the network name is gotten. We find by connecting them back up to the wired network and running gpupdate /force the laptops then reconnect A similar thing happens when there is a trust relationship error but the cause of this is obvious just produces the same result as above. Any ideas? Could a certificate be expiring or something else? We are running Windows 10 but I'm pretty sure the issue occurred on Windows 7 too Thanks Robbie
AlanD Posted January 6, 2018 Posted January 6, 2018 ....so the SSID remains visible ...and accessible? And this is a laptop issue...not wireless....so other devices can connect to wireless..or even other laptops...
