MS Teams and Dynamic Distribution List

I want to create a number of Teams and set the permissions based on AD distribution or security groups.

 

However a few online post suggest that although this is possible when creating the Teams, any updates to the groups will then not apply to the Team.

 

Is anyone else doing this and know of a work around.

 

I was wondering if a PowerShell script could run nightly to add or remove users from the Team based on the group

Powershell can be used to this, the above link is a start. May find yourself using the graph api as well mind.
