Macs are unable to print from different VLANs

Hi there,

 

We have an interesting issue here. All the apple products(imaccs, macbooks) stop printing after about 2 weeks after they have been re-imaged but only if they are not on the same VLAN as our domain controllers. We do not use MDNS and Bonjour is disabled as well.

As soon as you plug it back in to the main domain it starts printing again for about 2 weeks then it stops again. It looks like an authentication issue (Kerberos) but can't figure out what goes wrong.

Using Windows 2012 R2 on the DC and Sierra 10.12.6 on the Macs

 

Any ideas?
