Installing and Uninstalling Java update.. Any idea or help please!!

Hi Guys..

 

Could anyone tell me what is best software package where I can uninstall old version of java and install lastest version of Java across the school PCs.

 

I'm looking at PDQ Deploy software on free mode.. and on section of "Package Library" and can see that all the software package is all grey out.

 

Are there any other software that can do similar to PDQ deploy software and are free too.. it will save me hassle to go round the school and do updates on each machines

You can create your own package in PDQ free to do the job. you need to extract the msi and use the correct silent switches.

However the paid version is well worth the money.

Have a search on edugeek. I wrote a big post on how we do it with sccm and psappdeploy. Could easily be done with psappdeploy and gpo

In the past I've used the free version of PDQ and downloaded some free packages from this chap:

There's a bunch of useful stuff and one package is remove Java.
