Unable to open file to launch SIMS T6

I've used a satellite version of T6 for a number of years. I recently tried to update to the latest version using the NovaSatelliteSetup file. Everything seemed to run as normal. Files were installed in prog files - SATS. I then ran NovaT6setup, which installed files into SNova folder successfully.

 

The first time I ran T6 after updating it, Bullguard decided to quarantine a temporary fileGLBA445.tmp. After that, I haven't been able to launch T6. When I try to launch it, I get the message "Exception EReadError in module NT^.EXE at 00015463. Error reading btnLoad.Caption: Unable to load TCRes.DLL"

 

TCRes.DLL is in the SNova/Novat folder

If you're fully licensed then can't you grab a clean copy off the main SIMS server where you work?

 

Sounds like bullguard has interrupted the setup procedure and it's much much easier just to start again rather than attempt a fix.

I don’t have a license since I timetable for a number of schools and rely on their licenses. One of my schools sent me the satellite files, which I have successfully used in the past.

I have tried reloading it all again, but the same thing happens. Bullguard doesn’t kick in now – but T6 still says it can’t load the dll file. I’ll try to delete all of the nova files and start from scratch again.
