[1703, cu] Start Layout - This PC

Has anyone successfully got "This PC" to show on the start screen using the xml?

 

All my other icons show except this one

Yeh see I have that in there. But if I go to that area I don't have a computer.lnk just a This PC.lnk

I'll rename it and see what happens

Mines the same.. it just works like that as long as it's in the start menu too

Did take some trial and error.. make sure your trying on a new profile when yoj make changes as they don't always show I found

What have you got in the start menu? Mine is redirected from server share and I have placed a copy of the computer.lnk from the %appdata% location

In my start menu I actually have a link to this pc. Have you tried exporting a layout with just that? I can send you mine if you want just to test. I use unc paths now I found it more consistent
