sloughman Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 Hello In the summer term I added a new Synology DS216se to the network, created a couple of folders mainly to store archived work. All was fine, and over several days copied many GBs of work to it. After returning from the summer break I now cannot connect to the NAS through explorer, ie previously I did Run, \\synology\archive and it connected, but now after an age it asks for domain user name and password, which I provide but then tells me it's wrong anyway.....I can connect fine to the nas via ip address in browser and log in that way. I have not made any changes to the NAS, and other than filling in Domain credentials didn't really make any changes to synology on first set up, ie defaults. I am at a loss as to what may be the problem. I have re-started the NAS, and nothing really seems to stand out problem-wise. Any advice gratefully received.
kidpressingbuttons Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 had this sometimes with my synology nas. Remove the binding to AD then readd always worked for me! 1
