forkies Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 I suggest you look at SSH into the server, Sudo to elevate then use nano to change the configuration file to point to the correct www root directory with permissions so you can edit files without sudo. 1

I wouldn't use LAMP as I don't find it as secure as the normal IIS or Apache. Just another thing to note, if you're hosting the website yourself, DO NOT allow ssh port through to the public internet.
