Please how did you set it up? I have installed lamp but I can't change the default HTML.index. It keep saying access denied

I suggest you look at SSH into the server, Sudo to elevate then use nano to change the configuration file to point to the correct www root directory with permissions so you can edit files without sudo.

Are you going to be hosting the website yourselves? I wouldn't use LAMP as I don't find it as secure as the normal IIS or Apache.

 

Just another thing to note, if you're hosting the website yourself, DO NOT allow ssh port through to the public internet.

Yes I will be hosting the website myself.So i installed apache,webmin and php.I am using webmin to put some security on it.
