SIMS FMS "non-invoice income" issue

Hi gents,

 

Im having some trouble with sims fms and really hope i can find some help, the issue is that i got an un-posted transaction from a previous period in a previous financial year (15/17) that only has one period open left and not the one with the mentioned transaction, so i want to remove it, the problem is; that period being closed and the transaction it self has an error and cannot be posted is preventing me from closing the financial year and opening the new one (17/18), please if there's any procedure i can follow or a script/patch i can load to remove that transaction, that would help us a lot and would be very grateful.
