Ephelyon Posted July 14, 2017 Posted July 14, 2017 Anyone else finding users with a redirected Start Menu showing as empty/blank since the 2017-06 (and 07) Cumulative Update, i.e. above build number 1198 on Version 1607? I've verified that it's definitely those particular packages and that uninstalling them fixes the issue. Luckily only IT staff have a redirected Start Menu at my new school (though I'll be changing that in time), but still, this is proving to be a headache for making sure patching/security are all up to date... Install 2017-06 or 2017-07, reboot and you just get this: Uninstall, reboot and it's fine again... :/
Fazza Posted July 14, 2017 Posted July 14, 2017 Have you in any way edited the .xml file? If so this could be your issue. I tested redirecting a W10 start screen the other day for the first time and found it worked perfectly until I tried to add/change anything in the .xml file and after removing my changes it reappeared.
Ephelyon Posted July 14, 2017 Author Posted July 14, 2017 Just taken off the Start layout Group Policy setting and checked - without the redirection, they just get the default layout for additional icons (otherwise they'd have none), but still no All Apps list... :/
