Hi,

Has anyone managed to get their WiFi(Ours is Ruckus) to force users to log into webscreen (captive portal, radius etc) without paying £££'s for atomwide's WiFI?

I don't know about the webscreen bit but radius and captive portal are simple enough.

Setup radius in the AAA section with the IP and secret key I use NPS.

Then setup the SSID to use 802.1x auth and choose the radius server you previously setup.

Ruckus has a captive portal / splash page when you set the SSID as guest. I think they have an option to login as well but I don't use that part.

You need to have a separate VLAN/IP range for your WiFi devices and then in the Atomwide Support Site you create a filtering policy to block everything basically, then whenever the user tries to open a webpage they will get a blocked screen with the login prompt.

You can't do it via RADIUS unfortunately.

We tested the vlan block everything to force login last year but never rolled it out to end users, might test it during summer school to see how the staff find it.

Thanks
