CAM Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 I was checking the ICO site to find the register page here: https://ico.org.uk/about-the-ico/what-we-do/register-of-data-controllers/ After searching via both name and by postcode I cannot find our school on there and as far as I am aware, there are no exemptions for being a school. What do we do next?
GrumbleDook Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 Apply to add an entry. If the schools is an Academy conversion, and the LA did the work previously, it may be that the LA told the ICO the school was closing and it was the school's job to get a new entry in.

We are not an academy, we are LA controlled. Asked IT and they said ask finance. Asked finance and they said ask IT. I think this may have been badly overlooked.
