schoolcomms and letters

we are currently using rsconnect and are going over to schoolcomms for attendance, messaging, payments etc.

The one stumbling block we have is that schoolcomms attendance does not let you produce letters home and record them on the system like rsconnect.

We send quite a lot of letters out to parents who do not respond to text/email to unauthorised absences.

Schoolcomms only lets you send another text or email.

Workaround would be using mail merge somehow but this would be time consuming.

What do other schools do for letters home when using schoolcomms?
