Windows 10 Display Scaling

Hi All,

 

Having a big of a nightmare here, as a school we are moving up to windows 10, and one of the issues we are facing is display scaling.

We have a batch of 100 HP Probook 440's which come with 1080p displays. Windows has "Kindly" decided to default the scaling to 150%, which does not leave a lot of workable space.

I can set the scaling manually lower on my account, which is fine, but is there any way to default the scaling to 125% for students? (who dont have rights to control pannel).

I have tried a registry trick through group policy with no luck

 

Any help would be appreciated.

We have the 440s as well. We apply 125% scaling via gpo/registry changes. I'll try and post it tomorrow for you.

This dosent seem to work for us . for my profile its changed the DPI to 175%, and for everyone else its defaulted to 150% still. May not be pulling our GPO down, will do some digging.
