CAWJames Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 Morning all, We have just turned on email replying on our OSTicket instance, which works well, but it has the side affect of logging the Out of Office reply if we reply to a ticket and it send them an email, if that makes sense! Is there any way to suppress any OOO messages going to that address? by Exchange 2016 PS or can I set a rule in OWA to delete them(not sure on this, as i am not sure the rules will still run if the mailbox is never logged into again). Any insight or hints appreciated! Thanks James
ADMaster Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 Does OSTicket have any sort of ignore rules? I use a different helpdesk. I have ignore senders, and ignore regex for subject, body, content and attachments. If you have something similar crate an ignore on the subject. Only issue I see there is if they needed help with an out of office message. 1
CAWJames Posted June 21, 2017 Author Posted June 21, 2017 Well done that man, they have ticket filters, just set one up to reject anything with "Automatic Reply:" in the subject, will see if it works! Thanks!
