aarongulley Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 Hi all, I'm not sure if anyone else is having these issues? We currently use Office 365 with Mail app on OSX Current setup Office 365 OSX Sieera 10.12.5 MacBook Air Netsweeper Filtering - Student Proxy (Default Global) - Staff Proxy (Settings needed) Dreytek Router OSX Server (DNS, DHCP) The emails will not download unless you close the mail app and reopen it. If you add exchange within Internet Accounts it says "Incorrect username/password" Screenshot attached I have spoken to the filtering company they're saying everything is fine but when I remove any kind of proxy or remove the filtering all together, simulate a home network.. It will connect perfectly fine and without any issues. I'm just wondering if anyone has seen this before and has a solution? Best wishes, Aaron.
CraigM Posted June 23, 2017 Posted June 23, 2017 Possible that the filtering is interfering with the HTTPS traffic, as everything is layered on top of HTTPS when you connect a mail client to Office 365. Could also be the proxy mangling the traffic and preventing the new mail from showing up while the user has that session open.
