iMovie for OSX 10.9

I've got some 10.9 OSX Macs, which were bought with 10.6 and gradually updated. I seem to have lost iMovie on them and I can't find a way to download it from anywhere.

 

Apple seem to have bundled it, or charged for it, or upgraded it for free over the years but now I can't use the latest iMovie as it needs OSX 10 and Apple don't provide a previous version!

 

Is there any way to get iMovie for 10.9 or is it a case of waiting until they're updated to 10.10 (which will not be soon due to the SMB and Apple Profile Manager problems we had!)

Apple don't provide a previous version!

They do when I have downloaded iMovie in the past from the Mac App Store. If the latest version isn't compatible with your OS, then it should offer to download the older version.

It doesn't seem to offer older versions, on a 10.9 OSX mac the app store only offers the latest iMovie, and when you try to 'Get' it tells you that you need OSX 10.10 or higher.

IIRC you need the iLife bundled version, which will then update.

Well, weidly I managed to download the 'old' version from a test install of osx 10.7.5, which I copied to another 10.9.2 mac and it works ok!
