Hi,

 

Please can office 365 be managed centrally in a MAT instead of having different accounts for the various schools in the MAT

You will need migrate all School domains to the same tenant. I'm looking at this for our MAT at the moment.

AFAIK Microsoft don’t offer any option to move/migrate an Office 365 domains to another tenant, so you will have to manually update DNS records for each school to point to the MAT tenant and manually migrate mailboxes.

My priority at the moment is getting approval from all the Trust directors, we have one School that are still running google apps!

Depending on the size/scale of the Office 365 deployment(s) at your trust schools, it might be better to engage a partner to assist with the migration.

There are tools that can assist with the Migration process, I was looking at this.
