Crinkly image on Hitachi CP-X807 Projector

Hi!

 

I'm trying to fix a Hitachi CP-X807 projector that has an image where the entire image has a crinkly look about it. Looks like someone took a photo and crinkled the page and straightned it out, where the crinkles still show on the page. Any idea what might cause this? Just put a new lamp in it.
