We're incredibly excited to announce our partnership with iXsystems, and as I'm sure the tone already sounds like a generic partner announcement - let me add emphasis

Excited mainly for two reasons:

 

Firstly - the TrueNAS and FreeNAS lines are really interesting storage solutions. Open Source driven and harnessing ZFS, a self-healing file system that prevents, detects and corrects data decay, bit rot and corruption.

Secondly - the iXsystems team are an absolute joy to work with. We've never worked with a storage vendor so willing to set up POC, solution walkthroughs and pre-deployment testing (typically they hot test drives for over a month in-house to ensure 0% fail rate on deployment.
