Just so you guys are aware a steam xploit has been discovered (news from my site)

I just posted this:

 

A mod on Steam's official Reddit, existence of a an XSS exploit. Steamdb also confirmed the exploit should be worth taking note of.

 

If you want to ensure you are not affected please; be careful opening any profile pages on the service, and ignore any suspicious links!

 

The exploit takes advantage of Steam's XSS (cross-site scripting) code which can to let others inject their own code.

This allows anyone with the right knowledge to access your profile and then perform actions on your behalf.

 

Anyone who believes has happened should change their password, enable a mobile authenticator - and scan their system for malware
