FN-GM Posted January 18, 2017 Posted January 18, 2017 I did my CCNA (and later CCNP). I did everything in Cisco Packet Tracer. Its an emulator you can download for free from Cisco. There was no need to purchase kit. When I did my CCNP there was 1 thing I couldn't do in packet tracer and had to use real kit. It was such a pain, compared to the software method.
