Asus ZenBook UX305FA - can anyone vouch for these?

Afternoon All,

 

I have been asked to get SLT some new laptops, only requirements being fast and lightweight! Not been given a budget, just asked to get best value!

 

I'm looking at Asus ZenBook UX305FA, can anyone vouch for these?

that particular model i have no experience with but the last batch of asus i had were dire about 1/3 if not more of them resuse to run on battery some wont even run on mains. They also dont allow any ram upgrades and even fitting an ssd is a right ballache because of the case.

CPU and memory both soldered to the board. If experience is anything to go by this will lead to BGA failure, especially as this model is fanless.
