Census, Sims and Academy conversion - change to name urn establishment number etc

As part of joining a MAT we have changed our status on Edubase to Academy Converter

 

Has anyone gone through the process of converting to an academy and having to change the schools name, establishment number, urn and ukprn in sims?

 

Is there any process to how best to proceed with this?

 

Any tips to minimise issues?

 

How does changing this affect our census / student data (as I have been told that students are likely to get a new start date that relates to the date the academy was formed?

It used to be a pain but it's really easy now. Apply patch to unlock school details panel and amend your information and save. If you want you can make all the students leave and then bring them back in on the start date of the academy conversion, most schools don't.
