I read somewhere that although the 1st few months of 2016 were bad the year overall was not that much worse than previous years. I wonder if it's a case as as we get older (speaking for myself here of course) we know of more people - my children (26/24) have heard of David Bowie and know some of both his, and Status Quo's, music but Leonard Cohen, Greg Lake, Zsa-Zsa Gabor, Pete Burns, Ronnie Corbett and many of the others are a complete mystery to them.
