Sky + Router

Calling all Sky users...

 

How does one bridge a connection between their Sky hub and a router of their own choice?

 

I have recently joined Sky from TalkTalk and, in anticipation of my connection going live next week, I figured I'd have a play before swapping out the TalkTalk router which I simply use as a modem.

 

Also, where can I find the PPPoE or PPPoA details? There's nothing obvious that I can see as you can on a TalkTalk router, which is D-Link.

Hi Chuckster, the PPPoA and PPPoE details are built into the firmware of the sky hub it's self. Only way I found when I was on sky was to spoof it if I wanted to use my own kit (was told this by a sky customer service rep). Hope this helps. Rb
