GAFE/G Suite data migration

Has anyone used the Data Migration tool to move Email from user to another user on your GAFE domain?

 

I've tried to do this, and at the first stage where you enter your admin login it says "Authentication error. The username or password you entered is incorrect. Please verify" which isn't right as I'm logged into the admin site with the same details?

I have not as we started with GAFE (G suite for Education) but almost every time I have used google support, I've found them to be extremely good.

Might have to contact them, its a simple task to move a gsuite mailbox to another gsuite mailbox but I can't get past step 1!

Worked well for me a couple of weeks ago whilst migrating from Exchange to G-Suite. Have you tried setting the source to GMail rather than G-Suite?

Got it sorted, it was a mixture of problems relating to IMAP and also because of SSO from our VLE. Have to say Google support were very good on this one and slogged through it!

 

Basically a user account became orphaned in Gmail when deleted from the vle - so we had to recreate the old account to allow gmail to migrate the mail to a new account.

Glad google support lived up to my billing. As a progresso user, working with google support is refreshing!

I was about to suggest SSO problems. Your admin user should be set as Super Admin in G Suite, as that gives them a password rather than going through SSO so tools like this can do direct sign in.
