Office 2013 Outlook and Excel crashing (Office 365)

Morning

 

We are experiencing a few issues with Outlook and Excel crashing randomly during the day. I have checked the log files but there is no sign of any program crashes. We are linked to office 365 for our emails but use Outlook 2013 rather than the web based system (as teachers prefer this). One of our teachers state when they use Powerpoint and copy a large image from the internet, powerpoint freezes up and closes down. Would you say this was an internet related issue or something else?
