You will provide a whole-school digital learning support service as part of our IT support team, including maintenance of existing equipment and software as well as playing key role in any upgrading our systems in the future. This role will also involve giving hands-on classroom support, using your expertise to prepare and maintain digital learning equipment including all Apple devices from iPad’s through to Mac computers. In addition, you will support staff with interactive whiteboards, interactive TVs and media devices. You will also attend school groups and clubs to offer advice and ideas to pupils and to support the Director of Digital Learning in designing, planning and implementing new approaches to digital classroom learning.

 

Technical skills:

AD and GP Administration

Office 365 Administration

Endpoint deployment & backup configuration (Veeam and Dell KACE)

In-Depth knowledge of PC hardware and the ability to diagnose faulty components correctly

Knowledge of Sophos Anti Virus and how to diagnose potential security threats within the School system

Knowledge of Educational filtering systems and how to perform 1st line checks and tasks.
