App opening multiple times

I've added an application to launch on startup by putting a shortcut in \\server\Netlogon\Staff\Start Menu\Programs\Startup The application loads several times, and I can't work out why.

 

I've checked gpresult and msconfig, but can't see any references to it. Any offers where else I should be looking to see how the application is getting called?

 

FWIW, the app is the Papercut local client.

If you have not tried already I would look in your registry for all "User Shell Folders" items and make sure they are pointing to the right public vs. local startup folders.

All User Shell Folders either pointing to an empty folder on C: or the networked folder with the shortcut in.
