IS/ICT Manager – South Coast (Sussex/Kent) - £60K - Closes 14/10/16

We are working as exclusive agency to a leading independent school in the South Coast. Our client, a charity with a preparatory and main school, requires an experienced IT Manager to manage the delivery of a high class ICT service and contribute to the strategic vision of information systems for years to come.

 

The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar educational environment (although not absolutely necessary), still able to technically lead, have strong people and operational management capability, representing the ICT service at all levels in the schools, able to action change to deliver results for all stakeholders, inspirational and used to managing a large IT budget.

 

A strong mix of 3rd line core technical knowledge will of course include Windows Server, SAN, VMware, citrix, SQL databases, Sharepoint and Exchange etc. Educational tech knowledge may include biometrics,

AV, digital signage, ipads, Mac, BYOD, office 365, whiteboards, etc.

 

A degree or equivalent technical qualifications like MCSE, CCNA etc would be highly advantageous

 

You will have the chance to grow and develop your team in relative autonomy, in an already stable and well-funded network but with plenty of projects to work on as well as delivering on BAU.

Further to the advert, unfortunately there is no onsite accommodation as part of the role and candidates will need to be based within commutable distance as there will be an element of weekend and evenings cover (albeit oncall)
