Work Experience management

Hi all,

 

I'm doing a bit of research into how other schools manage work experience-

 

I have recently started at a large secondary which runs a work experience service for many other schools in the region.

 

So we have an Access database which was written a few years ago by a-level students, but has grown massively with details of students, providers and schools.

I do not believe Access is now the right tool for the job, but not sure what the best alternative would be.

 

Can anyone else share any experience on this?
