Service Desk is the first point of call for our users - they can contact it either by phone, email, web form or personal visit. It's quite a busy team - I've just looked at the stats for the last 3 months (basically the summer holiday) and they've closed about 12,000 jobs in that period.

 

If you're interested in working in IT support in a major university then this may be for you and it will be a chance to develop your skills, providing first line support for our 20,000+ users.
